The HeartSine samaritan® PAD AED is designed for use in public areas as a defibrillator for adult or pediatric use. This unit is extremely easy to use. Weighing in at 2.4 lbs. with the Pad-Pak™ inserted, this is the smallest and lightest AED model available. The samaritan® PAD resists shock and vibration and carries an IP56 Rating, the industry's highest rating against dust and water. It can be taken and used virtually anywhere, even in the most inclement conditions. The HeartSine samaratin's ease of use and portability make it perfect for schools, business, churches, synagogues, medical offices, boats, aircraft or anywhere an AED may be requirred. The unit carries a 7 year warranty.
The HeartSine samaritan® PAD is a low energy biphasic device. This technology automatically optimizes energy output for each person and has been reported to provide significantly better performance in removing ventricular fibrillation (VF) by the third shock. The unit stores up to 45 minutes of patient rescue data for reference at a later time using the requrred PAD-Saver Software and Data Cable.
The samaritan® PAD is user friendly and features easy to understand visual and oral prompts that guide the user. Only two buttons, ON and SHOCK are requirred, providing straightforward operation. A system status ready indicator flashes to show that the complete system is operational and ready for use. The device automatically runs a self-check each week.
The HeartSine samaritan® combines its PAD-PAK™ battery pack and it's Adult or Pediatric electrodes in one easily replaceable cartridge. These combination cartridges have a 3.5 year shelf life. When used or expired, simply replace one cartridge. This means there is only one expiration to monitor.
